Assembled at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada plant in Woodstock, Ontario, the 2018 Toyota RAV4 with all-wheel drive, presented by the Longueuil Toyota dealership on the South Shore of Montreal in Longueuil, near Boucherville and Brossard, is equipped with a 6-speed automatic Super Electronically Controlled Transmission with Sequential Shift Mode. The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine of the 2018 RAV4 develops a cavalry of 176 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 172 lb-ft at 4,100 rpm. It can tow a load of 680 kg (1,499 lbs) and provides a wide cargo space that goes from 1,090 litres (38 ft3) when the rear seats are up to 2,080 litres (73 ft3) when they are folded down.
Standard, the 2018 Toyota RAV4 is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense system which includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams and the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Most of these features are only optional on the 2018 Rogue. Navigation is offered in option on the RAV4 AWD SE and RAV4 AWD Limited models, with a JBL Synthesis audio system with 11 speakers and a 7” touchscreen display.
Finally, the 2018 RAV4 Trail provides a towing capacity of 1,590 kg (3,500 lbs). It is equipped with 18” black alloy wheels, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, black halogen headlamps and a suspension lift to increase the ground clearance.
