If the 2019 Jeep Cherokee has hardly changed compared to its 2018 edition, it’s a different story for the 2019 Toyota RAV4, which you can discover at your Longueuil Toyota dealer, on the South Shore of Montreal.
While the 2019 Cherokee's looks are almost similar to that of last year’s model, the designers of the new 2019 RAV4, presented by Longueuil Toyota close to Boucherville and Brossard, have given it a sporty stance and an adventurer’s charisma. Let’s add that the Trail and XSE Hybrid versions of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 innovate by offering choices of 2-tone paint schemes exclusive to each of these models.
As for the powertrain, the Sport, North and Limited models of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee come standard with the 2.4-litre Tigershark inline 4-cylinder engine developing 180 horsepower and a torque of 170 lb-ft. More powerful, all gas models of the new 2019 Toyota RAV4 are equipped with the standard Dynamic Force 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine with VVT-iE generating 203 horsepower and a torque of 184 lb-ft.
Although the 2019 Cherokee is still offered in hybrid version, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 adds the XSE, a sportier model, to its hybrid range. The 2019 RAV4 Hybrids, which you can see at your Toyota dealer located in Longueuil, close to Brossard and Boucherville, are powered a Dynamic Force 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine with Toyota Hybrid System II paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Even more, while most driver assistance safety systems are only offered as an option on the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, all models of the 2019 RAV4 are equipped with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite, which combines the following:
- - Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection in daylight or low light as well as bicycle detection in the daytime;
- - Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (0 to 180 km/h);
- - Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist;
- - Automatic High Beams;
- - Lane Tracing Assist.
