The 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Not very powerful compared to the RAV4, the 2020 Tiguan's powertrain produces only 184 horsepower and a towing capacity that does not exceed 680 kg (1,500 lb), while being particularly fuel hungry.
