The 2019 Toyota Corolla, to see in a few months at Longueuil Toyota, close to Brossard and Boucherville, sports an aerodynamic exterior shaped by its bumper and sleek front fascia. The LED automatic high beams come standard.
The 2019 Corolla XLE will get a heated steering wheel, heated front seats finished in SofTex and an 8-way power adjustable driver seat. You will also find an auto-dimming rear view mirror with HomeLink and compass, a 4.2” multi-information display, an audio system with 6.1” display that includes embedded navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio.
The 2019 Corolla will be powered by a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine paired with, depending on the model, a 6-speed manual transmission or the CVTi-S gearbox. The engine of the 2019 Corolla will develop 132 horsepower and limit its fuel consumption to 8.4 L/100 km in the city and 6.5 L/100 km on the highway.
The new 2019 Toyota Corolla will come standard with the new Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) suite comprised of the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.
Toyota also announces the great return of the 2019 Corolla Hatchback, to discover as well at the Longueuil Toyota dealership, close to Brossard and Boucherville. With its all-new dynamic design, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback will be fitted with a new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine and a Direct Shift continuously variable transmission providing more power and better fuel economy. The 2019 Corolla Hatchback will also get a sport tuned suspension, Entune 3.0 and Apple CarPlay.
Other 2019 models are on the horizon, including the 2019 Toyota Avalon and 2019 RAV4. The latter promises a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder in-line engine and more powerful hybrid powertrains with an improved energy-efficiency.
