The first is a 2.4 L 4- cylinder turbo with 265 horsepower/310 lb-ft. max torque, which is the same engine as the one found on the Highlander. It is standard equipped with an 8- speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid
When it comes to the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid, it can be equipped with a 2.5 L 4- cylinder with a Hybrid Synergy Drive system, for a total of 243 horsepower, and coupled with an eCVT transmission. However, the MAX Hybrid trim offers a hybrid MAX powertrain, which is a 2.4 L inline 4- cylinder turbo that produces a total of 362 horsepower and 400 lb-ft. maximum torque!
All-wheel drive is standard offered as well, and the MAX engine comes with Multi-Terrain Select with three modes, for even more efficiency.
