Little information has been released regarding the 2022 versions of these trucks. However, a quick overview of the 2021 model-year shows us that there were up to 12 versions/ packages available for the 2022 Toyota Tundra, while only 8 versions were offered for the 2021 Ford F-150.
Note that the number of models and versions available could vary in 2022, as could their price range.
If last year is anything to go by, note that the 2021 Tundra ranged from $49,369 to $66,609, while the 2021 version of the Ford truck ranged from $36,174 to $94,120; 3 of these versions were well over $75,000.
Lastly, the 2022 Tundra offers two 4-door models and three bed lengths to choose from. This allows Toyota to offer a big selection of trucks designed to meet the needs of a wide range of customers.

The first thing you'll notice when you look at the 2022 Toyota Tundra is without a doubt its completely redesigned exterior: it’s now tougher and more muscular than ever! When it comes to looks and being imposing, the Tundra has nothing to envy its rival!
The front end of the 2022 Tundra is very menacing and imposing, featuring a large grille and big headlights, not to mention its pronounced wheel arches.
And while the 2022 Ford F-150 has a rugged exterior, the Tundra has now surpassed it and has become more rugged and more powerful than its American competitor.

Towing Capacity and Payload
This is yet another category in which the 2022 Toyota Tundra has made giant strides! You will be happy to learn that while its towing capacity for the 2021 model year was of 9700 pounds, that number has jumped to 12,000 pounds in the newest edition!
Its maximum payload is of 1940 pounds, and while these figures are lower than those of the F-150, they are higher than those of the RAM 1500 Classic, another heavyweight in this category (10,610 pounds of towing and 1930 pounds of payload).
Safety
